Bank Indonesia Eases Lending Rules for Banks to Boost CreditApril 2 (Bloomberg) -- Indonesia's central bank eased a
rule that curbs lending to borrowers who have defaulted as it
aims to accelerate loan growth in Southeast Asia's biggest
economy.
Starting today, the central bank applied an exception to
the lending curbs rule and said banks could offer loans ``if a
borrower has different projects and there is a clear separation
of cash flows between each of the projects,'' the central bank
said in a statement today. |
