Air Canada launches "North America Unlimited Pass," subscription to unlimited flights an airline industry first MONTREAL, Sept. 13 /CNW Telbec/ - Air Canada is expanding its line of
innovative multi-trip pass products to include the airline industry's first-
ever subscription to unlimited flights. Air Canada's new "North America
Unlimited Pass" provides pass holders the freedom to fly as often as they wish
to more than 100 destinations served by Air Canada and Air Canada Jazz in
Canada and the continental United States, for a two month period from
October 1 to November 30, 2005 inclusive. The carrier's "North America
Unlimited Pass" will be available for purchase for two weeks beginning
tomorrow, September 14-30, 2005.
"Our North America Unlimited Pass gives customers the freedom to fly when
and where they want throughout Air Canada's extensive North America wide
network," said Sean Menke, Executive Vice President and Chief Commercial
Officer. "Subscribing to air travel with online convenience is an airline
industry first, and underlines Air Canada's commitment to lead the way by
putting control back in the hands of consumers. We plan on introducing more
innovative products using technology to simplify travel, based on the
overwhelmingly positive response from customers to our multi-trip pass
products."
To promote its new online subscription pass, Air Canada is launching a
cross-Canada contest for the chance to win five pairs of unlimited flight
passes. The contest takes off Wednesday September 14th for a two week period.
Clues to enter the draw at aircanada.com will be provided online and on aerial
banners in the skies over Toronto (September 14), Montreal (September 16),
Calgary (September 21) and Vancouver (September 22). Further details will be
posted at aircanada.com .

every $3 spent. Aeroplan Miles are redeemable on Air Canada's Star Alliance
partner carriers that together with Air Canada offer the world's most
comprehensive alliance network.
The introduction of Air Canada's "North America Unlimited Pass"
represents a further step in Air Canada's comprehensive strategy to provide
optimum value and simplicity and to put more control in customers' hands
through automation.
Air Canada is the first full service airline in North America to have
introduced everyday low, simplified online fares across its Canada and U.S.
network. Most recently, it further simplified its value-driven fare products
by eliminating Saturday stay and return fare requirements. In addition, it has
led the industry in launching a series of discounted multi-trip air passes
that provide customers with savings and flexibility to self manage frequent
air travel using pre-purchased flight credits in a personalized online Flight
Pass.
Air Canada and Air Canada Jazz operate more non-stop flights in Canada
and to the United States than any other airline. Within Canada, the carriers
operate more than 955 non-stop flights per day on 135 routes to and from
59 Canadian airports. Between Canada and the United States, the carriers
operate more than 385 non-stop flights per day on 79 routes to and from
50 U.S. and 6 Canadian destinations. In 2005, an independent survey of more
than 12 million international air travelers ranked Air Canada as the Best
Airline in North America.
