HALIFAX, Apr 19, 2006 (Canada NewsWire via COMTEX News Network) -- Jazz Air Income Fund (TSX: JAZ.UN) announced today that its April cash distribution of $0.0729 per Fund unit covering the period from April 1, 2006 to April 30, 2006 will be paid on May 15, 2006 to unitholders of record at the close of business on April 28, 2006.

The fund is an unincorporated, open-ended trust established under the laws of the Province of Ontario. The Fund indirectly holds 20.3% of Jazz Air LP, with ACE Aviation Holdings Inc. holding the remaining majority interest of the outstanding Jazz LP Units.
