El Paso Declares First Quarter 2001 DividendHOUSTON, TEXAS, April 17, 2001—The Board of Directors of
El Paso Corporation (NYSE:EPG) today declared a quarterly dividend of
$0.2125 per share on the company's outstanding common stock. The dividend will
be payable July 2, 2001 to shareholders of record as of the close of business on
June 1, 2001. Outstanding shares of common stock entitled to receive dividends
as of March 31, 2001 were 514,867,701.
