Rob Kill Named President and Chief Operating Officer of Virtual Radiologic MINNEAPOLIS, Minn., June 11, 2007 -- Virtual Radiologic Corp., a leading national provider of teleradiology services, today announced the appointment of Rob Kill as president and chief operating officer of Virtual Radiologic Corp. In this role, Kill will be responsible for directing the company's business operations.
Kill brings more than 20 years of leadership experience to Virtual Radiologic. Most recently, Kill was president of the Physician Systems unit at Misys Healthcare, a Raleigh, N.C.-based developer of healthcare software systems. In this role, Kill was responsible for a software business serving more than 85,000 physician customers across the U.S. While at Misys, Kill was also president of the company's Physician Enterprise Systems unit and vice president of sales and marketing for the company's Transaction Services unit.
Before joining Misys, Kill was executive vice president of Entertainment Publications, a privately held consumer marketing business. Previously, Kill spent 10 years with Baxter Healthcare, where he held senior leadership roles in operations, marketing and sales.
Kill holds a B.A. in Economics from the University of Notre Dame.
