NCI Awarded $31.3 Million NORAD/ U.S. Northern Command Task OrderNCI to Provide Information Technology Support ServicesRESTON, Va., Dec 20, 2006 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- NCI, Inc. (NASDAQ:NCIT), a leading provider of information
technology services and solutions to U.S. federal government agencies,
announced today that it was awarded a task order with a potential
total value of $31.3 million to provide the North American Aerospace
Defense Command (NORAD) and U.S. Northern Command, collectively
referred to as (N-NC), with Command, Control, Communications and
Computer System information technology (IT) services. The task order
has a base year value of $8.8 million plus three addition option
periods.
Under this new, competitively won task order, NCI will provide
information technology consulting and migration services, assessment
and maintenance of existing legacy systems, as well as the development
of solutions to implement and sustain an enterprise information
management framework. The award was made through the North American
Aerospace Defense Command and U.S. Northern Command (N-NC) using the
U.S. Air Force's Network Centric Solutions (NETCENTS) contract.
