(NYSE: NE) today announced that David W. Williams, Chairman, Chief Executive
Officer and President, will participate in a panel discussion at the Goldman
Sachs Global Energy Conference in Las Vegas, Nevada, on Thursday, January 17,
2008, at 1:30 p.m., Pacific Standard Time. Panel discussions from this
conference are not being webcast.
