Northrop Grumman Wins $120 Million IT Outsourcing Contract from VoughtHERNDON, Va., May 1, 2003 (PRIMEZONE) -- Northrop Grumman
Corporation (NYSE:NOC) has been awarded a follow-on contract
to provide a wide range of commercial information technology
(IT) outsourcing services to Vought Aircraft Industries,
Inc., Dallas, Texas. This contract allows Northrop Grumman
to continue managing Vought's IT infrastructure, improving
its return on IT investments, and implementing a common
operating environment.
Northrop Grumman's Information Technology sector was awarded
the contract, valued at $120 million over three years, with
options that could bring the total potential value to $200
million. ``This contract is Northrop Grumman IT's most comprehensive
commercial IT outsourcing engagement,'' said Hugh Taylor,

of outsourced IT services to Vought since 2000, Northrop

understanding of Vought's business and IT environment.'' Under the terms of the contract, Northrop Grumman IT will
provide a comprehensive solution to Vought, including such
major services as enterprise architecture planning, network
engineering, mainframe CPU operations support, mainframe
storage, network operations center, help desk, managed desktop
services, remote access services to Vought's internal network
and the Internet, voice services, on-site and remote support
for technical applications servers and workstations, software
systems support and engineering and procurement support.
The solution also includes information assurance services,
featuring mainframe security administration, disaster recovery,
network security change management, vulnerability scanning,
personal firewall monitoring and cyber incident response. Work on the contract will be performed at Vought locations
in Dallas, Texas, Hawthorne, Calif., Milledgeville, Ga.,
