URS Dedicates New Nuclear Energy Center in Fort Mill, South Carolina SAN FRANCISCO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 6, 2008--URS Corporation
(NYSE: URS), yesterday hosted a dedication ceremony to formally open a
new URS Nuclear Energy Center in Fort Mill, South Carolina. The center
will serve as the headquarters for the Company's commercial nuclear
energy engineering and construction business and will provide a
complete range of licensing, design, engineering, procurement and
construction services for new nuclear generation facilities as well as
for critical stages in the development of nuclear fuel cycle
facilities. The Company plans to employ more than 400 nuclear
professionals at the center over the next several years.

around the world including commercial nuclear facilities in the United
States, Japan, Taiwan, Mexico, Brazil, Italy, Spain, Sweden, and

including providing engineering and related services to assist major
original equipment manufacturers in the planned deployment of

pressurized water reactors; the construction, in New Mexico, of the
first major Nuclear Regulatory Commission-licensed commercial nuclear
facility in the United States in 30 years; project-management training
in China; and the replacement of steam generators in existing nuclear
power plants.
