URS Awarded Contract to Provide Training Support to U.S. Military

SAN FRANCISCO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Mar. 13, 2009-- URS Corporation (NYSE:URS) today announced that the Company has been awarded an indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract to provide simulation, training, and testing solutions to the U.S. military under the Army's Program Executive Office for Simulation, Training and Instrumentation (PEO STRI) Omnibus Contract II (STOC II) program. The multiple-award contract has a maximum potential aggregate value to all 144 awardees including URS of approximately $17.5 billion over a ten-year period.

Under the terms of the contract, URS can compete for, or be assigned, task orders for a variety of services, including providing training and testing, and support to simulated and live training events, as well as modeling, instrumentation, telecommunications, targeting and gaming systems.

Commenting on the contract award, Randall A.
