SAN FRANCISCO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--URS Corporation (NYSE: URS - News) today announced that the Company's EG&G Division has been selected by the Internal Revenue Service to provide logistics support services for IRS facilities across the country. The indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract has a 10-month base period, followed by four one-year option periods. The maximum value of the contract, assuming all option periods are exercised, is $75 million.

Under the terms of the contract, URS can be assigned task orders to provide a variety of facility management and logistics services, including warehousing, transportation, repairs and work order processing, and oversee an associated management information system. URS has provided similar services for 725 remote IRS offices over the past nine years. This new contract extends the Company's services to essentially all IRS facilities, including the agency's Washington, D.C., headquarters, ten main campuses, and three computing centers.
